Research is "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge". It involves the collection, organization and analysis of evidence to increase understanding of a topic, characterized by a particular attentiveness to controlling sources of bias and error. Our college has setup Research Development Committee (RDC) which makes conscious efforts for creating an ecosystem of research and innovation for knowledge creation and encourage faculties and students to undertake such initiatives.
There are basically 7 Centres of Research (Department) in which research work is going on in the campus of the college i.e.,

* Department of Ancient History, Archaeology and Culture
* Department of Geography
* Department of Sanskrit
* Department of Sociology
* Department of Political Science
* Department of B.Ed.

There are about 13 faculty members as Research Guide and total no. of Research Scholars around 43 who are engaged in different areas of their respective research area.
